Each month we celebrate a CCSD Female Athlete of the Month and a CCSD Male Athlete of the Month.  Congratulations to this month’s winners: Baylor Beam of River Ridge High School for softball, whose head coach is Andy Marinelli, and Graham Burmeister of Woodstock High School for football, whose head coach is Dan Devine!

Congratulations to TSgt. (Ret.) Ciarra Malto, Etowah High School Career Pathway teacher for Air Force JROTC - Government and Public Administration, on being named the southeast U.S. region's CTAE (Career, Technical and Agricultural) New Teacher of the Year!

Thank you to Madeline Flournoy for serving as a Student Delegate to the School Board!  Delegates serve for one school year to give valued input and feedback to the School Board and Superintendent of Schools.

We can’t wait to build our future success together!  Our High School Student Advisory Board, made up of ninth- and 10th-grade student leaders from all our high schools, kicked off their year of service!

Student feedback helps us imagine what’s possible for the future of our schools!  Middle school student leaders from across our district came together this week for their first Middle School Student Advisory Board meeting of this school year with Superintendent of Schools Mary Elizabeth Davis.
